Bears vs. Packers Reaction

The Bears lost. As I predicted, the Bears couldn't beat the Packers. This was a bad game to lose. First, we never want to lose to the Packers since they are our biggest rivals. Second, the Bears playoff hopes are over. They aren't going to make it to the Playoffs this year.
Ryan Grant helped lead the Packers to the win on the first play. As you can read, he scored on the first play. The Packers didn't play that well, but they played good enough to beat the Bears.
The Bears actually had the lead in the third quarter of this game. The problem was Jay Cutler's interception problem. The Bears defense was ok.
The main point of this game, and the season in general, is that the Bears are really bad and need to make a lot of changes.
Lovie Smith is a horrible coach. They need to get rid of him. Second, they need to replace most of the coaches and cooridinators. They aren't doing anything good right now. An example today was when it was like 3rd and 8. The Bears called a screen. That isn't a good play to calll in this situation; they should have called a deeper pass. They also need to get a much better offense and defense. They basically need to start all over from square one.

Bears vs. Packers Preview

This week the Bears take is on the Packers. This will be a very critical game. Right now, the Packers are the second Wild Card. The Bears are looking to make it to the Playoffs. The only way the Bears will make it will be beating the Packers. This is a big game for the Bears and Packers.
The Packers are coming off of a win. They are doing really good of late as you can see from this. They definatly have the momentum going in.
The Bears are coming off of a win also, but it was to the Rams so it isn't thiat big of a win.
The Bears keys for this week are to play all around and stop everybody. They have to stop Aaron Rodgers in the air and Ryan Grant on the ground.
The offense just has to score a lot.
Unfortunatly, I don't see these things happening. I think the Bears will lose.

Bears vs. Rams Reaction

Basically, I was right. The Bears beat the Rams 17-9. The only thing I wasn't right about was the Bear's score. I thought they would have more.
The Bears one responsibility this week was to stop Steven Jackson, and they did it. He didn't get into the endzone. Matter of fact, none of the Rams got in the endzone. They scored on three field goals.
The offense did pretty good too. They didn't score too much, but they scored enough to win. The best part is when you look at this stat sheet. Next to Jay Cutler's name, there is a zero under the interception column. Maybe, this will kick-start his drive to not throw any more interceptions.
The Bears didn't play that good of a team this week, but a win is a win. Hopefully this will give them some momentum for next week.

Bears vs. Rams Preview

This week the Bears are playing the St. Louis Rams. This is definately a good team to play to get back on the winning track. The Bears have lost the past four games. This is bad but, the Rams aren't any better. They have only won 1 game this year. The team they beat was the Detroit Lions. You may or may not know this, but the Lions are horrible. That game was just to see which team sucked less. Since these teams were pretty equal, the game wasn't bad. It was pretty close. Steven Jackson scored with about 2 minutes left to help the Rams win.
The key for the Bears this week is to stop Steven Jackson. He is the only good player on the Rams. The Bears should be able to do this and will win. One thing that I'm hoping is that Jay Cutler doesn't throw any interceptions. That would be nice.
The bottom line is the Bears should beat the Rams like they beat the Browns.

Bears vs. Vikings Reaction

Unfortunatly, I was right. The Vikings rolled over the Bears 36-10 as you can read from this. The game was painful to watch. It's always bad to lose to a division rival like the Vikings.
Brett Favre and his recieving corps picked apart the Bears' defense. Favre threw 3 TD passes and helped the Vikings offense pick up over 350 passing yards. Another thing that was bad was Adrian Peterson. It seemed like the Bears just couldn't take him to the ground. The Bears' defense really needs to get better because they don't have a chance of winning any games when the other team scores 35+ points.
The Bears' offense wasn't much better. Matt Forte had less than 30 yards. Jay Cutler threw two interceptions and one TD pass. Luckily, Cutler was only sacked four times. Two of those sacks were by Jared Allen. The offensive line did a good job of only allowing Jared Allen two sacks. I thought Allen would get more sacks than two.
This was a bad game, but let's hope that this loss spurs the Bears to do better and finish up with a respectable record.

Bears vs. Vikings Preview

This is going to be a bad game for the Bears. The Bears are coming off of a loss, while the Vikings are coming off a win. Last week, the Vikings beat up on the Seahawks. Here is a recap of that game.
Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson are going to lead the Vikings offense. The Bears' defense probably won't stop them.
The Bears' offense probably won't do any thing either. The only chance the Bears might win is if Jay Cutler has a record day and doesn't throw any interceptions. The offensive line has to keep Jared Allen off of Cutler. Finally, Matt Forte needs to play good. I don't see this happening though.
Bottom line is the Vikings should roll over the Bears easily.

The Bears' Updated Playoff Chances

Basically, their chances are the same as before. They have to win the Wild Card if they want to go to the playoffs. They have to do better than to of these three teams: Philidephia Eagles, New York Giants, or Green Bay Packers.
The Packers beat the Cowboys last week. The other two teams lost to the Chargers. The Eagles lost last week, and the Giants lost to them the week before. The Chargers won on a great drive at the end of the game by Phillip Rivers. It was a great game, so here is the recap.
This week the Packers, Eagles, and Giants play the 49ers, Bears, and Falcons, respectively. Hopefully, the Bears can help themselves out this week. Although it may seem like the Bears are done, the Bears still do have a chance to go to the playoffs. This will be a critical week for them.
